To be a law enforcement officer requires CHARACTER, SACRIFICE, and COURAGE. These are qualities found deep within, in ones HEART. A badge is a representation of the commitment and oath taken to PROTECT and SERVE, a symbol. When an officer falls, hearts are broken and grieved. We at Mourning Badge grieve as well, that is why we came up with a way for officers to wear their heart on their chest. A way to memorialize the fallen.
